According to Culture Days, 10% of the population celebrate Culture Day Culture Day is celebrated worldwide because it helps shape a good understanding of the people around us. This could help introverted people socialize better with peers, friends, and teachers. However, Culture Day isn’t just a day to learn about people; it also deepens our understanding of who we are as a person and our backgrounds. On Culture Day, many events take place, such as traditional performances. Many traditional performances are cultural dances; these dances pass down cultural stories, traditions, and history from generation to generation. I myself take place in a cultural dance called: Bhangra, I’ve danced for 8 years, and I don’t regret it. Cultural Dances: • Bhangra • Gida • Salsa • Samba • The Dragon Dance of China Furthermore, they can also give a greater appreciation and understanding of diversity. Culture Day can also bring your taste buds an explosion of flavors from diverse cuisine. They are eaten across the globe creating more knowledge of traditions. Examples of cultural foods:

These are only some of the popular foods this diverse cuisine offers to your taste buds. From dances to explosions of flavor, what more can there be? We aren’t done yet! We still have famous art pieces! In Asian culture, the famous Lotus Flowers symbolize honesty, goodness, and enlightenment. On Culture Day art can represent the culture's beliefs, traditions, and experiences.

My family enjoys it, and it has been passed down for ages. Me and my siblings enjoy it. It is one of my favorite foods. Yesterday, I went to a restaurant called, Bombay Palace and ate a delicious filling meal: Amritsari Kulcha. I still remember the first time I tried an Amritsari Kulcha, and my tastebuds fell in love! Culture day is crucial to celebrate because without the past there is no future.
