Culture Day: A story of the past and the future!

According to Culture Days, 10% of the population celebrate Culture Day Culture Day is celebrated worldwide because it helps shape a good understanding of the people around us. This could help introverted people socialize better with peers, friends, and teachers. However, Culture Day isn’t just a day to learn about people; it also deepens our understanding of who we are as a person and our backgrounds. On Culture Day, many events take place, such as traditional performances. Many traditional performances are cultural dances; these dances pass down cultural stories, traditions, and history from generation to generation. I myself take place in a cultural dance called: Bhangra, I’ve danced for 8 years, and I don’t regret it. Cultural Dances: • Bhangra • Gida • Salsa • Samba • The Dragon Dance of China Furthermore, they can also give a greater appreciation and understanding of diversity. Culture Day can also bring your taste buds an explosion of flavors from diverse cuisine. They are eaten across the globe creating more knowledge of traditions. Examples of cultural foods: 

• Garlic Naan Flatbread 

• Paratha 

• Daal 

• Biriyani 

• Shai Paneer 

• Ras Malai 

• Butter Chicken 

• Chicken Tikka Masala 

• Gulab Jaman 

• Panner Tikka 

• Amritsari Kulcha

• Samosa

These are only some of the popular foods this diverse cuisine offers to your taste buds. From dances to explosions of flavor, what more can there be? We aren’t done yet! We still have famous art pieces! In Asian culture, the famous Lotus Flowers symbolize honesty, goodness, and enlightenment. On Culture Day art can represent the culture's beliefs, traditions, and experiences.

My family enjoys it, and it has been passed down for ages. Me and my siblings enjoy it. It is one of my favorite foods. Yesterday, I went to a restaurant called, Bombay Palace and ate a delicious filling meal: Amritsari Kulcha. I still remember the first time I tried an Amritsari Kulcha, and my tastebuds fell in love! Culture day is crucial to celebrate because without the past there is no future.

    This article was very informative and thorough. I liked how you incorporated real statistics while intriguing the readers with interesting opinions on different cultures and traditions. I liked how you touched upon cultural foods, dances and arts. I also really liked how you gave a real life example of your experiences trying different foods and practicing cultural art and dances. Thank you for sharing this article with us readers and I am glad to say I learned something new. If I were to make a suggestion, I would suggest you give more examples of different cultures' foods, dances and art. Also it would be a good idea to provide a bibliography for us readers if we wanted to do further research upon this topic.

  STEM Students Build Creative Amusement Parks! This week, our students took STEM learning to new heights—literally! In an exciting hands-on project, students were challenged to design and build attractions for their own themed amusement parks. Drawing on engineering principles, creativity, and teamwork, the results were nothing short of spectacular. Themes ranged from the whimsical to the wild, including candies, seasons, forests, jungles, video games, and even natural disasters. Each team chose a unique concept and brought it to life through a variety of amusement park rides and attractions. This past week in class, the students in 8B wrote a rap about recent news stories like the upcoming elections, greenhouse gas emissions, and the US tariffs.
